Ecological experience design for places that matter.

Rooted in place. Designed for living systems.

We exist to harmonize human design with living systems.

Why we’re here
………………………

Gregory Bateson showed us the major problems in the world are the result of the difference between how nature works and the way people think. YONDER exists to bridge that divide—bringing the patterns of living systems into the practice of experience design, so that human creativity once again serves the rhythms that sustain life. We believe design can be a form of participation in life’s unfolding, not its control.

How we do it
…………………..

Our process is one of relationship. Iterative & alive.

We begin with attention. Attuning to place, listening to people, and noticing the subtle signals that reveal the next right action.

We trace the underlying patterns that reveal how a project can align with the larger living system it belongs to.

Our intent is to design systems that continue to learn and grow long after the project is complete.

Begin the Conversation

If you’re stewarding a place and sensing that something more is possible, we’d love to listen. Our work begins with conversation—understanding the land, the people, and what wants to emerge. Reach out to explore whether YONDER might be a good fit.
